Description
The 22-foot BARTENDER was the first of the BARTENDER fleet. After being tested and approved by the U.S. Coast Guard it was put into service as a patrol boat at various stations throughout the U.S.
The 22-footer can be powered with a 70 – 100 hp outboard in a well designed to allow the motor to kick-up. However, inboard power is the preference of the designer using light weight, high speed, gasoline or diesel engines in the 150 – 250 hp range. Engines should remain as per plans for proper balance. Deck is self-bailing.
Recently updated plans include modern engine and hardware specifications. Plans include construction details for both outboard and inboard power.
This boat is great for those longer overnight trips. Will accommodate two bunks, a small galley, and a portable head.
You’ll like the performance of this legendary boat at both low and high speeds.
