Aluminum TimberCoast 22

Bartender Boats is currently building a new TimberCoast 22 in aluminum. This extremely stout little cruiser was professionally designed and engineered for aluminum construction and is being built to commercial boat standards. All aluminum sheet and plate carries an ABS materials certification report as well as NADCAP certified test reports. All construction and systems installations conform to ABYC standards and current USCG regulations. She’s powered with a new 2009 29hp Nanni/Kubota diesel with fresh water heat exchanger cooling and full instrumentation. Transmission is a Twin-Disk TCM 40 with a 2.6:1 reduction.

Standard features include a 100 amp alternator, dual battery system with charging relay, 32 gallons fuel capacity,  ground tackle with electric anchor windlass (22lb Lewmar claw with 30’ chain and 270’ line), sink with electric pump, 20 gallon fresh water tank, single burner butane cooktop, cabin heater (heats from engine coolant), porta-potti, VHF radio, radar, GPS plotter, sounder, long range LED navigation lights, electric and manual  bilge pumps, and complete riding sail and paravane stabilizing systems for serious rough water cruising. Calkins galvanized tandem axle trailer included.

Initial sea trials have given us some very favorable performance numbers. With the engine turning at 1800 rpm she burns about 1/3 gallon per hour at 5.5 knots. Top speed is 7.8 knots at 3300 rpm.

This very capable pocket cruiser is unlike any of the new character yachts in this size range currently on the market. Her design and construction grasp the true nature and performance of the classic NW work boats. Here’s a safe and economical deep-water passagemaker you can rely on when the going gets tough. Please inquire for further details.
